It is Beltane here đ
The sabbats are seasonal:
so in the southern hemisphere it is Beltane (MayDay)
In the northern hemisphere it is Samhain (Halloween)
Beltane was a fertility festival where the villages would come together:
This way âin- breedingâ â in the same village was lessened.
A child conceived at Beltane was considered special.
We witches in the days before Wicca became popular; and before âpolitical correctnessâ ;
jokingly called it the âNookie Festival.â

A Few Of Us Are Sending Healing
When I was young I believed that a few people could make a difference:
From a sociological point of view the more people that want something to change the more likely the change will happen.
I have learned over the years that multinationals rule the world and humans believe that they are the only species that matters and the only species that has feelings âš
Population control as in zero population growth is essential.
Humans make up 99 percent of the of the world population.
Hence only one percent is wildlife.

Taking advice from Confucius –
A few of us are sending healing at the same time each evening to the earth and all birds, animals, reptiles, insects, trees, plants, molluscs, arachnids, sea life and to the bees, koalas and other endangered species.
I include livestock and laboratory animals being freed and inhumane practices abolished.
I also ask that zero population growth for humans is implemented throughout the planet.
If you wish to join in:
send healing (or pray if you have religious beliefs) at 8pm /2000hrs South Australian time:
Less than five minutes a night.
Similar endeavours have succeeded in the past on a smaller scale.
Even if you cannot send every night send on the evenings that you can.

My Wish — Ecology B4 Economy
I have a Facebook page called this.
When I was in primary school we were asked to write and essay entitled “My Wishâ I wrote that I wished that people would care more about the planet and other life forms than about money: The headmaster wrote good girl on this essay and I was so embarrassed because I didn’t think like every one else who wrote about items they wish they had.
I later learned that multinationals ruled the world!
Long, long ago (In the 1970âs) I wrote a sociology paper on communism.
Unfortunately I am unable to remember all my research and âgooglingâ does not always give accurate information.
I could never understand why Marx was portrayed as some one evil?
Well yes, I can: He was criticizing capitalism.
I remember the conclusion of this paper was – Â that the only time true communism existed was in Israeli Kibbutz: and this is no longer the case. It appears humans prefer to own rather than share.
(In the sci fi short story I published the surviving humans lived in a commune. I am not happy with my book. I believe my ideas are good but my character development definitely lacking.
Hence, I wrote a nonfiction book: below)
When I studied sociology, it was âsaidâ that if enough people want something there will be change:
In magic âBelieve in the possibility of what you want to achieve and it will happenâ
I used to tell would be witches to âput outâ what you want to happen and not what you donât want to happen;

I have stopped practising what I preached in my old age.
It is so frustrating knowing that the multi nationals rule the world and the average mindless automaton sees humans as the only species that matters:
And believe what the media tells them.
In the same âlong long agoâ (I was at teacherâs college as a mature student.
Uni was free because Gough Whitlam was Prime Minister.)
I studied human development.
According to human development a child is able to think abstractly from age ten. Â (I googled and it âsaidâ eleven or twelve).
Of course all my family are original thinkers and able to abstract:

Actually there are so many caring, intelligent, original thinkers one would expect us to make a difference?
I am changing back to my âpositive thinkingâ

Why Are Homo Sapiens So Stupid?
Humans make up 99% of the planets population. There are more than 7.7 billion of us and we continue to make all life forms extinct.
I had always hoped to be able to contribute to saving all non humans before I died. Doesn’t look very promising!
When I was a child I wondered what was wrong with me because  I didnât think like everyone else.
I didnât understand why money was all that mattered:
Or that the only species that matters is humans.
My mother threatened to have me put in a mental institution because I objected to eating meat. Â It was easy to have someone certified insane back then.
I also didnât understand racism or the fact that there was something wrong with people that werenât heterosexual.
I argued with my peers at high school that there were double standards for women. Â At this time women had no rights and no status. Ones status came from oneâs husband. We were not allowed to buy houses, property or businesses. Landlords would not rent to separated women. I had a government job working with computers that I had to give up because married women were not allowed to hold government jobs. Married women were not supposed to work.
What really got to me, was that all women were meant to be virgins and all men promiscuous. When I commented as a joke âHow does that work?!â I was shouted down and told that it was the way it was meant to be.
I was in Womenâs Lib in the 70âs: Â Â All we wanted was equal rights.
Things have now gone to ridiculous extremes.
I was also involved with Animal Lib and Greenpeace back when we thought that a few people could make a difference.
Sadly multinationals rule the world!
In 19882 the husband of one of my staff asked me to report that suckie calves were left to die of dehydration and starvation. I phoned the RSPCA and was called a liar and a trouble maker: I put something in writing but it was ignored
This still happens: I know people who work at the abattoirs and those who go to buy stock and was told that it happens to all newborns not just calves.
The friend who worked there said the drug companies requested this. And someone else told me that this was because hormones form in the newborns tissues when they die this way and these hormones are harvested.
I do my best to avoid supporting the meat industry: Drug companies: cosmetic companies and household product producers that test on animals: but it isnât easy!
We as humans are progressively destroying every other life form on the planet.

It was 2012 and I was at the computer reading something about 2012 being the end of the world and thinking what a load of crap! — When —
2027 appeared on my computer screen in huge numbers.
No idea why. Some sort of error I guess:
But part of me tries to put a meaning to this:
As in is 2027 the end of the world?
I seriously doubt it but the way humans are going wont be too much longer before there are no resources left!!!!
In April 2018 a few of us started sending healing to the ecology at 2000 hours South Australian time every night. Join in if you care.
I wrote this short story as a satire on human arrogance and as “sympathetic magic” : Like all books and movies commenting on human’s destroying the planet it is only preaching to the converted.

Re sending healing- It is your “intent” that matters, so send the healing to those issues that are important to you.

What are angels!
NO IDEA!
So I Googled!
âAn angel is generally a supernatural being found in various religions and mythologies. In Abrahamic religions and Zoroastrianism, angels are often depicted as benevolent celestial beings who act as intermediaries between God or Heaven and Humanity. Wikipediaâ
I have no idea what an angel is but I see them as white light.
I donât believe in a god nor heaven so I only have theories? Which may be utter crap đ Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â In one of my sci fic short stories I use an analogy of this universe/reality being an holodeck programme and say angels are entities that live outside this reality but visit.
In this particular sci fi I think my ideas are good but I just donât give enough depth to the characters, hence I never published it as a paper back. I also didnât include any sex or violence: Well apart from culling seven billion humans đ
I have communicated with âangelsâ for over forty years. And I am sceptical or maybe discerning is a better description these day about clairvoyance etc—

What ever they/angels are they have a sense of humour.
In “The Craft” we either invoke the Lords of the Winds or the archangels: I tend to use the archangels.
In the early nineties when this so called âNew Ageâ stuff started to become popular I read several articles where the archangel Michael was supposedly channelled.         So I âaskedâ him about this and he said laughingly âCoz I canâ! âAnd itâs my job!â âI am omnipresentâ!                                                                                 This was actual clairaudienceâso the words just flashed quickly.                     And I admit to not knowing if it was actually the archangel Michael answering me.
I work with my guides for clairvoyance and healing and I have had proof that they are real: Whether they are another aspect of my multidimensional being or someone just come to help I do not know.
In recent years I have been âtoldâ to also work with my higher self: to whom I gave a name đ
This isnât spiritual oneupmanship. Detest such crap. Not into hierarchical structures:

âHierarchy is a way to structure an organization using different levels of authority and a vertical link, or chain of command, between superior and subordinate levels of the organization. Higher levels control lower levels of the hierarchy. You can think of an organizational hierarchy as a pyramid.â
(I am editing a day later: I do know that hierarchical structures are necessary to our culture and efficient: There are way too many homo sapiens for communism to work. Hierarchy sadly effects how we see thing. We label some as inferior.)
Three of these photos, including the first one, were taken with a non digital camera at a full moon ritual at Encounter Bay at the beginning of this century.
The night the pictures were taken there was complete cloud cover so there was no moon light filtering through.
I was just clicking the camera to use up the film.
When I initially got the photos back I thought there was a camera fault. â Apparently not.
The interesting thing is that we do a spiral dance as part of the full moon ritual and there is a spiral in the photos.
The other photo is of my grandson: Taken quite a few years ago.
Photos with the sphere seem to be a common occurrence. Other people have shown me similar.
Re the photos taken at the full moon ritual I sent them to Janet Farrar: wife of the late Stewart Farrar: and her partner replied saying that they had similar.
(Off on a tangent hereâ In the 1980âs I filled out a questionnaire for one of Stewart Farrarâs books entitled âThe Life and Times of a Modern Day Witchâ I loaned my copy of this and as often happened with loaned books, it was never returned. Suffice to say I no longer lend books. I found a copy on Ebay only to be informed that the copy was too damaged and had gone to recycling. If you actually manage to read a copy of this book I am “Kate”.)

Flower Power Generation
Maslow’s Hierachy
This was brought to my attention in the 1970’s when I was at teacherâs college.
The late Wayne Dyer had Maslow as a lecturer.
A week ago, I was watching an early episode of the TV show âNew Tricksâ where one of the âvillainsâ was bragging about reaching âSelf-actualizationâ on Maslowâs Hierarchy.
I thought of putting a post on Facebook or my blog saying that I had achieved this but then thought âNo people will think that I am bragging!â An attitude that means I havenât achieved self-actualization because if I had I wouldnât care what people thought đ
But now that I have almost achieved three score years and ten I look back on my life and feel that I have done my best to be true to my ideals.
When I was younger I believed a few people could make a difference. Although it is sad that multinationals rule the world and the environmentalist groups that I belonged to have become impotent bureaucracies we the âFlower Powerâ generation HAVE made a difference.
I re-watched the remake of âThe Day The Earth Stood Stillâ last night and then started to watch Avatar again but fell asleep. Sadly, these movies only preach to the converted.
On a positive note the younger generation are aware and concerned about the environment.
Many of us âFlower Power generationâ ( and younger people) still do what we can in the microcosm to help the environment.
One of the problems now is that there are just too many humans!?

Hug A Tree Today
This is a re blog, altered slightly. Previous blog was called “Trees”
A neighbour recently told me with pride. âI donât have leaves in my driveway!â
And another neighbour who has now moved used to vacuum the concrete. This man worked for “Trees For Life”. Which reinforces my belief that these now impotent environmental groups are populated by people who think its trendy. His property was mostly concrete and gravel: Not a tree insight!
I am opposed to absolute ideologies (fascism) so I do not impose my ideas on others.
But I am tired of others imposing their views on me.
I am sick of people telling me to get rid of trees.
Trees are essential for the air and soil.
Real-estate development removes millions of trees destroying the homes and food source of other life forms and effecting both the soil and air.
So instead of chopping down trees lets bring in harsher penalties for arsonists.
And build our homes in harmony with the environment.
Oops I forgot: People believe that cultures that live in harmony with the environment and donât worship money are primitive and therefore inferior.                        I am probably considered “white trash” because of my beliefs.
I no longer belong to âTrees for Lifeâ because they are now just an impotent bureaucracy.
Not only do the multinationals rule the world they have the masses âbrain washedâ.

A Witch Hunt

Decades ago I researched the âInquisitionâ as part of a lecture I was giving on Wicca.
It started out as a means of getting rid of practitioners of the Old Religion and the women herbalists who were replaced by male doctors.
It became a money-making concern. Not only were the torturers and executioners paid but someone who wanted someone else property or position would accuse this person of being a witch and they would be tortured: even the pope would confess to the accusations after the third degree of the torture.
This torture and execution continued for several centuries.
I was in womenâs liberation and I remember when, if a woman dared accuse some one of rape, she was portrayed in the law courts as a slut that deserved same.
There was a joke that there couldnât be rape because âA woman can run faster with her dress up than a man with his pants downâ.
So I was initially pleased when sexual assault accusations were taken seriously.
But this in my opinion has turned into a witch hunt, ruining celebrities lives.
Some of these celebrities are no doubt guilty but some, in my opinion, are not.
Even before I took screen studies (now called media studies ) in the seventies I was aware that the media could edit and alter both interviews and film footage to make it appear completely different than it originally was.
