Witches

Being a real witch and knowing it isn’t Halloween (Samhain) in the southern hemisphere I still used to make up bags of lollies for the children that called for “trick or treat”. The last time that I went to this expense so many “trick or treaters” came to my door I had to make up more bags. On my return one brat complained that I took too long. I turned her into a toad and stopped giving out treats 😛

Wicca means wise and or “to bend” ( as in bending energies)

I am a third degree initiate of The Craft.

What attracted me to Wicca in the seventies was that most of the people that I knew who were involved in Wicca were concerned about the planet and other life forms.

And Wicca is matriarchal.

I was (and still am) a vegetarian: involved with animal liberation: Greenpeace and Women’s Liberation. In later years, I was involved with trees for life.

Back then women had no rights and no status. Other life forms still have no rights or status according to homosapiens. And humans are still raping our Mother Earth.

Some people still think witches worship Satan and use blood sacrifices!

WE DO NOT!

I used to lecture on Wicca so I have researched this!

In western culture the idea of Satan worship came from the Inquisition and was taken up by what we call Satanists.

Because Wicca is a resurgence of an old religion it is difficult to find out what really happened in the distant past and I would presume they did use blood sacrifices?

In modern Wicca energy is raised by dance, as in the cone of power and by singing and chanting.

The sabbats are seasonal so in the southern hemisphere it is Beltane (May Day) when the northern hemisphere celebrates Halloween (Samhain).

wheel-of-year2

This is the wheel of the year from my Book of Shadows. The Church of Rome took on the pagan sabbats because they couldn’t get rid of them. Hence mid winter, (Yule) is Christmas: Spring equinox is Easter. (A fertility festival dedicated to the goddess Eoster) and so on.

Clairvoyance Isn’t Something That You Believe In Or Don’t Believe In It Just IS

image002

When my daughter’s paternal grandfather was alive he would ridicule me for my clairvoyance and say that there was nothing after death. He claimed that he knew this because he had died several times.

I was running a psychic development group in 1991. Someone “saw” my ex father-in-law. Actually what they described was a photo of Barney and his brother in their army uniforms. I was able to connect with Barney at this time. He was “saying” you were right and jumping around. I told him that this didn’t prove anything to me. I said “I know what you look like; I know what you sound like and I know what you think; show me something that I don’t know.” (Not out loud!)

Firstly he showed me one of my daughter’s horses that he claimed had gone through the meat works. I told him I wasn’t going to check this up. Too upsetting! He then showed me a “duck” and lifted the head off. He said “Where is the duck?”

But my mind went to something familiar. I associated this duck with a rocker duck that Barney had made for my daughter when she was a baby.  I tried to find out what had happened to the rocker.

Two weeks later I went to my daughters for dinner. In the kitchen there was a biscuit barrel. A duck! And the head came off. I asked my daughter who had bought this for her. She told me Grandma and Granddad.

In January 1992 while I was sitting outside knitting. (This was my stopping smoking therapy!)

I “saw” my daughter’s paternal grandfather.

My initial response was “What do you want?”

He gave me some information pertaining to a male friend which is not relevant to this story.

He then told me that he was reincarnating as my daughter’s son in August.

Many years later my daughter had her first child. A boy; born in August . I had forgotten Barney’s message until a pagan friend whom had been sending healing to the baby wrote to me that there was a reincarnation link with this child. She thought it my daughter’s grandfather.

Re the “seeing” and “communication” everything flashes in a fraction of a second.                Clairaudience is often way too fast to understand. For me “seeing”; “hearing” and even “concepts” flash in a fraction of a second.

I know that there are many people who have similar stories to share:

I have many similar stories all making me question the nature of reality and life and death.

The terrorist bombing in Manchester motivated me to repost this!

(And although I grew up “Down Under” I was born in Wigan )

I cannot subjectively understand why someone would do this!                                Objectively I understand how people are “brainwashed” by religion.

I studied religion as an elective at uni  in the 1970’s and noticed that the Koran is so like the Old Testament!

Say religion: say fascism!

Karl Marx said : “Religion is the opiate of the masses”– If people believe that they will be rewarded in an afterlife or that “god” decreed something – they are not likely to rebel in order to change things: The kings of old said they ruled by the will of the gods and were descended from same.

Religion was/is a way to control the masses.

We do not have some omnipotent being to please or displease Some one who will punish us if we are bad and reward us for being good. I obviously don’t believe in hell! Nor do I believe in karma. (The word actually translates to “work”) If we believe god or karma will change injustice then we wont try to do this ourselves!

It was only at the beginning of  my 65th year that I admitted to myself that I did not believe in a God. I spent the greater part of my life looking for my spiritual home. Wicca suited me because we respect the planet and the earth as our Mother. Well, we did when I first started. Now that it is so popular, I think most “wanna bees” are only interested in spells and being different.

I have been trying to understand the nature of reality since I was seven years old.  I have had a few theories since then. In the 1990’s I used the analogy of us living in a virtual reality and of course when “The Matrix” came to the screen so many people recommended it. The Matrix was/is a creatively brilliant movie with subtle satire.

In recent years I have theorised that it has something to do with time being a dimension and linear time an illusion?

I was in Women’s lib; Animal lib; Greenpeace; Trees for Life– all in an attempt to make this a better world – Women’s lib has gone to the extreme where men now need liberating! The other organisations have become impotent bureaucracies that support the protestant ethic.

I am still a vegetarian and still care about all life forms

I now realize I can only help in the microcosm of my own little home.

Humans use religion to justify not implementing zero population growth.                      I cannot understand why humans do not see that because there are way too many of us we take the homes and food sources away from other life forms and these other life forms eventually become extinct. Western religion claims to care about animals but supports a meat industry and drug companies that mistreat animals on the excuse that humans are more important.

If we credit some “Being” as having created this reality; this “Being” would have to be a sadistic psychopath (and a misogynist). Every creature has to deprive some life form of its existence in order to survive. ( Its called eating) But also just breathing kills other life forms! As we breathe in micro-organisms.

I believe everything that exists has a consciousness: And because of my clairvoyant experiences I believe everything survives beyond physical death.

Here endeth the lesson.

Knowing that there are ads on my blog I am adding one of my own.

In primary school the class was asked to write an essay entitled “My Wish”

I wrote that I wished people would care more about looking after nature and the planet than money.

Seeing that this is never going to happen in my life time or possibly ever!

I wrote this short story for myself and as sympathetic magick.

SHEEP

AG00212_

I started to write the following and then thought – It is a bit petty considering all the suffering and horror in the world — Then off on a tangent thought—What will I call it? — Sheep? – People think sheep are stupid but they are not! – From there I started thinking about the scapegoat which really upsets me — what a life leading others too their death?

So now am writing thefollowing so I don’t dwell on how horrible the meat industry is:-

If someone looks young and attractive they are treated with respect and considered to be intelligent caring people. Those who do not fit the stereo type of attractive are treated with contempt and considered stupid, deviant or criminal. The origins of this attitude are from the movies where attractive people are cast in leading roles as the good guy and the not so attractive as the villain.

This is not only wrong it is dangerous because sociopaths and psychopaths are usually attractive, charismatic people.

People are so controlled by the media. The example that comes to mind goes way back to 1980 when Lindy Chamberlain suffered trial by media and was convicted of the murder of her daughter Azaria. At this time, every person I knew considered her guilty! I was abused for saying I believed the dingo took the baby!

These days I have to tolerate people claiming they are supporting me because I am on an aged pension.

(Yet I paid more tax per fortnight in the 1990’s than I get for my pension now. I gave up a job that I had had for twenty years even though my “Work Cover” was approved. I found out that lawyers are afraid of “Work Cover”?)

People do not consider how much the politicians cost them. They support a corrupt system that is controlled by the multinationals and could not care less about the average person.

I haven’t watched the movie The Matrix for a decade and an half but my favourite line is “These people are so inured so hopelessly dependent on the system they fight to defend it”

Clairvoyant Readings

This is taken from my answers to a questionnaire that my youngest grandson gave me a few years ago.

Question:

What has been your most memorable experience when giving a reading to someone?

Answer:

There are of course many: I respect peoples confidentiality when doing a reading. Also I tend not to remember peoples readings: Other clairvoyants say the same. Probably to protect the client and also not to take on other people’s problems.

I will describe three: one very upsetting: one that I was told was wrong to begin with: and a funny one.

Am putting the “funny” one first!!

I was reading for a young lady. Her father was one of the people that came through. He kept showing himself sitting on a long drop toilet: pants around his ankles; reading the paper and smoking. I didn’t feel comfortable “giving this off” !

But he insisted it was a family joke. When I told the girl, she explained that her grandfather had put “kero” down the long drop. Her dad got off the toilet throwing the cigarette butt in and blew up the building!

dunny

I while I was reading for a man in a local shop I picked up a friend of his who died in the Crimean War. The man I was reading for asked if the man had been killed or was he taken and tortured. As they had had to leave him behind. The man had been tortured. I did not feel the physical pain but the emotional horror!

grave

I read for a lady whose son had died. Off on a tangent – (When this lady first came to me I told her she would have to come back in four months. Her son had only been dead two months the first time she came for a reading. Spiritualists had taught me that people had to be dead six months before they could make contact. This isn’t true. A year later I was reading for someone whose husband came through amazingly clearly. I asked how long he had been “passed over” and was told nine weeks.) Back to the story: One of the things this lady’s son did was point to the head of his grave. She told me that there !

was nothing there! I pointed out to her that I wasn’t to know that her son had been buried. The following day I received a phone call from this lady. She told me that she had gone straight to the grave after her reading. Her son’s girlfriend had put a headstone on the grave saying “His loving Wife” and not mentioned any of the family!

dad

My Dad always told me that you shouldn’t charge for readings He believed it affected ones ability to be genuine.

But I have charged for readings for approximately 35 years. I do not charge very much! Several years ago a clairvoyant friend told me that I should charge $100 because I genuinely communicate with people who have ”passed over” At the time I was charging $30: I now charge $50 and give a pensioners discount! I realised, since way back to the 1970’s that if I charged a fortune, people would think I was an excellent clairvoyant. Because our  culture programs us to think this way.

John Edwards is genuine so I am not criticising people who charge high prices. It just isn’t how I wish to “work”!

A few years ago I finally acknowledged to myself that I was an atheist.

Surviving death has nothing to to with worshipping a god.

I think we just move to an alternate reality.

Surviving Death

People tend to believe that a belief in God and heaven is necessary for a belief in and “afterlife” Surviving death isn’t synonymous with a religious belief. We do not understand the nature of reality. It appears we exist in an alternate reality when we are “not here”! In this reality the electrons are apparently moving at a different speed around the protons and neutrons so it is out of phase. ( This is my very limited understanding of quantum physics)

The Following post on Facebook motivated me to write this blog!

13092043_10207675042412307_8151830657830518825_n

The incident that convinced me that clairvoyance was a reality happened at work. In the late 19 70’s. I was a student nurse at Strathmont Centre. I was washing dishes with a male staff nurse. We didn’t have kitchen hands in those days. Kym was 6 ft tall and rather heavy set. He had long blonde hair and dressed “Flower Power” style. A man (deceased) flashed in! (When I see or hear things they flash in a fraction of a second) He had Kym’s high forehead and similar features but wore a suit with a crepe ribbon and a cross and had a short back and sides hair cut and dark hair.

I asked Kym if his father was a minister. He asked me why and initially I would not answer. I eventually told him what I saw and Kym told me that it was his uncle. He asked me what denomination his uncle was.

I did not know.

After Kym left the kitchen I asked his uncle what he had died of.  The words were that fast all I could make out was sclerosis. Because we were with the intellectually disabled I thought “tubular sclerosis?” Then I realized it was multiple sclerosis.

When we were having a tea break Kym told me that his uncle died of multiple sclerosis. I was amazed and said that his uncle had “told” me this!

Kym said “Get more”! I informed him that I couldn’t.

But I saw panama hats and monkeys. I said “He was a missionary in South America” Kym said “Yes”. I then saw masks and a jungle and said he was also a missionary in New Guinea. Kym told me this wasn’t so. When Kym came to work the next day he said that his mother had confirmed that her brother had been a missionary in New Guinea. This showed that I wasn’t just reading Kim’s mind.

I previously entitled this Computer End Program and received no likes?

Computer End Program” was a statement made by Dwight Schultz character Lt Barclay at the end of “Ship In A Bottle” Star Trek Next Generation: season six. Implying that  “we” may exist in an holodeck program.
