FROM MY PERSPECTIVE THE LAST TIME THE WORLD GRIEVED THIS MUCH WAS WHEN JFK DIED

From my perspective the last time the world grieved this much was when JFK died

I love the Queen and “met” her in person when she opened the city of Elizabeth – Prince Phillip stopped talking to some girls next to me –so saw them both close up  –  I also watched her car drive past on Main North Road in 1954

I have had these pictures for years and cannot remember where they originated

I was in third year high school  in South Australia when John Kennedy was assassinated   November 1963 and the school closed for half a day

I remember how much President Kennedy was liked and admired

from usatoday

I was devastated when John  Lennon was shot in  December 1980

And  horrified when  Princess Diana died August 1997  – I personally don’t think that it was an accident  but I am not omniscient

For me  when Queen Elizabeth died I had not sensed so much grief worldwide since JFK was shot

Namaste

I love the meaning of this word

The quote is from chopra.com One of the most common translations of namasté is “The divine light in me bows to the divine light within you.”
