Just another WordPress.com site
I find it encouraging seeing posts like the above (and similar) on Facebook:
More people are becoming aware of the damage humans have done and are doing to the ecology.
I was aware of this in the 1970s when I joined the original Greenpeace
The problem is that multinationals control the world
The media
politicians
The groups I belonged to
Greenpeace
Trees for life
Animal Liberation
have turned into impotent bureaucracies
presumably caused by ‘the powers that be”?
The multi national gods want us to be wasteful and keep consuming
I was in Women’s Liberation as well
The original women’s liberation was only concerned about getting equal rights for women
who couldn’t buy houses
have a bank account
rent a house if they left their husband
women only got 75% of a mans wage
My first job in the 1960s was working with computers (the size of wardrobes in refrigerated rooms)
A job I had to give up because married women were not allowed to hold government jobs.
Women’s lib has gone to ridiculous extremes:
See crowd mentality
I LIKE TO BELIEVE THAT WE AS A SPECIES ARE CHANGING FOR THE BETTER
Namaste
I love the meaning of this word
The quote is from chopra.com One of the most common translations of namasté is “The divine light in me bows to the divine light within you.”
