REMEMBERING JFK

I recently re watched an episode of “Timeless” about JFK—

I have always liked sci fi with good social satire.

The younger generation will never understand how much this man was loved world wide.

Remember there was no internet which has now connected the world:

Computers were the size of wardrobes in refrigerated rooms.

He did so much good for the USA and the world.

I was in high school when he was shot.

Our school was closed for the day because of John F Kennedy’s assassination!

I live in South Australia and we heard the news in the morning –

 it would have been 0300 hours here when he was shot.

 Our televisions were still black and white

when we watched the video of the motorcade

and the gun shot.

So long ago yet I remember it as if it were yesterday
