This was the first blog that I wrote in April 2012.
A friend and I were talking about honesty recently:
I said that I had never stolen anything and that I don’t tell lies:
She said “same”.
Being true to ones self is much more than just being honest. This Shakespeare quote is how I try to live my life.
Our culture operates on the assumption that people are honest and truthful yet this often isn’t so.
On a “white lie” level; how often do people say what they think the other person wants to hear or simply tell a lie to get attention? Sadly, lying, cheating stealing and scams are rampant. On the other hand one could argue that telling the truth is not always kind.
I feel so strongly about telling the truth as I believe it to be that even if I accidentally lie I feel guilty. What I write I believe either to be true or possible. I am not “into” absolute ideologies, so I acknowledge this is only my opinion.
The following is from Marion Weinstein’s “Positive Magic” (page 234; Positive Magic: Earth Magic productions New York; 1st published in 1978 by Simon & Schuster Pocket Books New York)
“Makeru, or The Word of Truth
The concept of Ma’Keru, or Maat, was a highly regarded state of being in ancient Egypt. In fact, it was always hoped that by the time a person died, he/she would have reached this state of personal evolution. The word itself is difficult to translate. In hieroglyphics, it look like
Witches who trace their own traditions back to the early Egyptian Mysteries still intergrate the concept of Ma’Keru, Maat, or The Word of Truth into their work. Once one has attained Ma’Keru, every word that is spoken literally comes true. The greater Gods and Goddesses were in this state, and you too may strive for it – as the witches do, in essence -for yourself. This state is attained by being very careful to say exactly only what one means. Consequently, “idle chatter, or lying” serves only to dissipate the truth and the Power. In our own lives, this means: Watch what you say! Say what you mean, and mean what you say.”
In my life time society’s attitude to clairvoyance and associated philosophy’s has improved along with attitudes to minority groups such as women; different races; sexual preference; etc.
Although there are still many “out there” who consider clairvoyance to be a con at best and evil at worst.
People are free to believe as they choose and I have no desire to alter people’s beliefs or opinions.
I do not require others to believe as I do to make it true.
The clairvoyants that I know (including myself) are genuine and honest and coming from integrrity. I am very aware that there are charaltans who are more interested in making money than helping people. How prevalent this is, is dificult to ascertain. I was made aware of a scam last century where people who went for readings were told that an “hex” had been put on them and were told it would cost $2,000 to remove same. No doubt similar scams still happen.
The way to avoid being conned is to tust ones “gut”! To quote or maybe para phrase Dr. Deepak Chopra: We should always trust our gut. Every cell in our bodies has neuropeptides which means every cell thinks. It is better to trust your gut because it hasn’t learned to doubt what it thinks.
I am able to “see and communicate” with people that have died as well as other discarnate beings. I know that my clairvoyant ability is genuine because I was extremely sceptical in the 1970’s when I first participated in Spiritualist psychic developement groups. I made sure that I was being honest with myself so that I knew that I was really “seeing”.
Everyone is clairvoyant. Because we live in a culture that denies the existence of this ability; the ability atrophies.
When I “see”(clairvoyance); “hear” (clairaudience) or “feel” (clairsensience); it flashes in a fraction of a second. The Spiritualists would train us to remembr by putting numerous items on a tray: Covering same with a tea towel; removing towel for a fraction of a second and then cover the items again. We had to see how many items we could remember and describe.
Knowing that I have helped someone by proving that their loved one is genuinely communicating is my greatest reward. I am not interested in the payment, although I don’t refuse the money. I have done readings for an exchange or for free in some circumstances.
My first paid reading for the public was in 1980 when I worked in a coffee lounge called “The Sixth Sense” which was in O’Connell Street, North Adelaide.
Despite my clairvoyant awareness and experiences I do not claim to understand the nature of reality. I have my theories but am also aware that these theories are limited by the cultural and personal concepts that I have. Even analogies cannot really help me understand this multi universe and what is beyond.
I realize that I have gone off on a tangent from the original title but this is something that I often do so in essence I am still being true to myself.
Long before the movie “The Matrix” came out I used to say to people in my psychic development groups —“Imagine we are in a virtual reality.” The movie “the Matrix” is creatively brilliant. The surreal colour: The names of the characters: The way the dialogue was presented: the social satire. And it questions “what is real”
In my early twenties I was facinated by the similarity between atoms & solar systems. I can remember associating the concept of an atom with that of a solar system. The protons & neutrons being the sun and the electrons the planets. But this is definitely way off on a tangent.
Now I think I had better be true to myself and end this blog!
I have been doing readings since 1978
I have never charged much
and have done numerous freebies
Despite being told a couple of decades ago that I should be charging $100
Someone that I read for a couple of years ago told me that she and her friends think anyone who charges less than $80 is no good.
I was only charging $50:
My Dad was a Spiritualist and told me that I shouldn’t charge
Plus I dislike the Protestant ethic of accumulating money:
Our cultural norms and attitudes are making all life extinct.
There are numerous stories omitted from this book so as not to break client confidentiality.
My clairvoyance is genuine and my favourite part is communicating with those who have passed over.
The future isn’t fixed:
I have over the years had many people contact me, to give me feedback, when something that I told them would happen, happened.
I made this video for my facebook page which I no longer have:
Am including it here so you can see me
and I am not just words on paper.
Last year I closed my business account with PayPal and my Clairvoyant Medium Facebook page
And told the local shops that I am not doing readings any more:
I was refusing or cancelling bookings because I was in too much pain.
I know that pain doesn’t block my clairvoyance
AND I LOVE DOING CLAIRVOYANT READINGS
so I am offering readings via email, Skype or Messenger
They are $70 Australian
concessions available.
I can “pick up” people and pets that have passed over,

I am ceridwen2 on Skype
I use my personal PayPal account to send invoices:
so no problem for overseas payments.
LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU

P.S.
I have only done one reading sinc first posting this:
(this is a re blog)
The response to this was:
“Gosh you are friggin good
“
(As my Dad used to say:
He grew up on a farm in Yorkshire:
dry humour.)
“Things improve as they get better“
YOU ARE PROBABLY AN ORIGINAL THINKER

Who would want to be a mindless automaton
I just felt like reblogging this.
Original thinkers are no longer put to death
nor put in a mental institution:
We need people that see beyond the cultural programming:
see that many of our cultural norms are wrong:
The concept that only humans matter is so destructive to the ecology
chopping down trees:
culling other life forms because they are considered vermin or dangerous:
Factory farming:
production line slaughtering.
refusing implement zero population growth.

Blessed be
and be kind to nonhumans

HAVE A GREAT DAY
When Television first came out in the UK and later Australia some labelled it the ”idiot box”
When Karl Marx “said” ‘Religion is the opiate of the masses’:
There was no television:
Yet these last few years when pain and health issues force me to lie down and rest:
And arthritis and carpal tunnel inhibit my fine motor skills:
I watch DVDs or Netflix (or similar)
I have never watched a soapie or reality tv show in my life –they just don’t appeal to me.
Last century “Star Trek” aired after midnight – so I would have to tape it.
Shows that I really liked only lasted one or two seasons:
e.g
Firefly
Terra Nova
Presumably because they were deemed not popular.
I do not believe the “test” audience for tv shows is an accurate example of the viewing audience:
Like when Feud labelled all women as neurotic and having penis envy:
His tests subjects were 12 middle class Jewish women.
People that agree to be part of a tv survey or “test” audience have a certain type of mentality:
This isn’t meant as an insult.
I have bought all of “Star Trek original”:
“Next Generation“:
“Voyager”
and some of “Deep Space Nine“:
as well as all the movies including the newer ones starring Chris PIne – on DVD:
Yes I am a trekkie from way back:
I have bought Firefly
and Terra Nova:
But one show that I liked staring John Corbett –“The Visitor”
Aired 1997-1998
I cannot find the DVD anywhere?
Have a great day
and be kind and respectful to “non humans”
There are so many wise and caring people that follow my blog or comment on Facebook:
I now believe there is hope that the ecological balance will be restored.
On my soap box about trees – again.
The son of the people who own the house next door (investment property) has been “chain sawing for weeks..
When walking this morning I noticed that he has removed all the trees that were on this property
A neighbour (behind my house) aged in his late twenties or early thirties; whose landlord had removed all the trees from the property said he would organise something to give me my privacy back.
When I said that trees are important:
He and his wife just gave me a blank look.
Our local council chops down trees for no apparent reason.
A tree directly across the road from me was chopped down: it wasn’t in the way of anything: Not even the footpath?
Three magpies sat on the footpath looking at a stump that was once their home.
The roads department often removes trees because these trees are supposedly obstruction the view of traffic.
i have often been told that “my” trees are a fire hazard and should be removed:
humans light fires:
trees don’t:
makes sense to me to remove the arsonists instead!
When I was in primary school in the fifties we celebrated Arbor Day by planting trees because humans had realized how important trees are.
Arbor day still exists but it seems people are unaware of this?
Real-estate companies demolish heritage bush land and pay the fines knowing they will make heaps of money from property development.
And then there is “Trees for Life”
which a friend was instrumental in starting:
others took over and the organisation changed.
(Long a go a group of us (Pagans) went around the botanical gardens hugging trees — and doing Monty Python silly walks.)
I used to do bush care:
But I was expected to poison non indigenous plants and kill non indigenous animals.
I won’t use poison and I won’t kill.
“Trees For Life” cut down trees that are not indigenous to the area:
These trees are indigenous to South Australia:
just not the specific area.
It seems to me that this organisation (as well as Greenpeace and Animal Liberation)
have become impotent bureaucracies
populated by mindless automatons trying to be trendy:
this is a broad generalisation and I know that there are still people involved with these groups that care.
I realize that the multinationals are in control of both politicians and the media
reinforcing the concept that only humans and money matter.
I believe that we will change this “status quo”
I have been trying for an hour and half to load a video I recorded on the 4th of February when it started to rain.
I loaded it to Facebook on the 4th with no problems:
but WordPress says there is an error:
and have been unable to work out what the error is.
I have finally given up and I’ve recorded the birds from the video.
enjoy your day

Before the “Industrial Revolution” one’s status went up with one’s age:
When a product was new it was good:
when it was old it was no good.
This attitude transferred to people.
So much has chenged for the better in my life time but our cultural norms and attitudes are making all life extinct.
I still believe there is hope for the ecology because the majority of the younger generation are aware and care.
Have a great day and respect your elders
–as well as other life forms
On my soap box again despite knowing people just don’t want to know.
Wiser and well known people have advocated for other life forms and the ecology long before me.
Peter Singer
Albert Schweitzer
John Newton (wrote Amazing Grace)
Irving Stowe and Dorothy Stowe, (founders of GreenPeace)
Casey Affleck
Alec Baldwin
James Cromwell
David Attenborough
And many many more

And there were movies
“The Day the Earth Stood Still” (re make)
And “Avatar’
“Let them eat cake”
a famous quote attributed to Marie-Antoinette, the queen of France during the French Revolution. As the story goes, it was the queen’s response upon being told that her starving peasant subjects had no bread.
Most people have this attitude and response to starving wild life.
e.g.
I am often told
“don’t feed the birds they have to find their own food”
People don’t realize that humans in western culture have destroyed the homes and food sources of all other life forms.
Our norms and attitudes are causing the extinction of all life.
In our culture we don’t share with one another; never mind other life forms.
Karl Marx who advocated sharing – communism – is seen as evil.
And please know China and other so called communist countries have “state capitalism” not communism.
(I wrote a paper on Karl Marx when I majored in sociology)
Some one told me not to go on about the ecology because there is nothing that they can do:
but they and you can:
Do what you can in the microcosm
Feed the birds even if your neighbours abuse you because they don’t want the noise and the poop.
Google eco friendly homes and gardens for ideas:
Don’t use poisons:
Try your best to adhere to ahimsa
Don’t kill insects and mice etc
Enjoy your day
