STATUS QUO

In the 1970s those of us in Greenpeace were labelled dangerous and deviant

Those of us in Animal Liberation were ridiculed and abused

When women had no rights  — could not have a bank account- buy an house –landlords would not rent to  separated women – abuse wasn’t grounds for divorce – a married women couldn’t hold a government job— and we got 75 percent of a man’s wage

Those of us in Women’s Liberation were labelled trouble making lesbians (anyone not heterosexual was considered deviant in those days)

People were once put to death for not conforming to status quo

So instead of labelling those who do not conform to the status quo as deviant and what they say “conspiracy theories”  respect their right to their opinion even if you disagree
