Let’s appreciate the humble fly

I do my best to practice AHIMSA and did so even before I studied world religions and became aware of this word.

(It is difficult to adhere to in a WASP culture)

I don’t have insect spray and cover dishes etc if there is a fly about — this morning I didnt see any flies:

Made my breakfast/brunch just before 9am :

Didn’t cover the dish and suddenly there was a fly on the side of the dish:

So threw it out
