Just another WordPress.com site
I know that it is easy to google recipes but thought I would share this anyway.
I haven’t been able to get bread lately
I have been baking my own
but am now out of yeast
This damper recipe was given to me in 1979
Normally cooked when camping in the bush in a camp oven under coals
Damper
2 heaped cups S R flour
1 heaped tablespoon powdered milk
1 tspn salt
Water to mix
Make well in centre of flour and pour in enough water to mix to a stiff dough
(I ad a small amount of E V olive oil)
Knead dough
Sprinkle with flour and pat into a round shape
Bake at 200 degrees c for 30 mins
Tastes yummy
Blessed be
and be kind to non humans
