When I was growing up the population of the whole of Australia was 9million
And the majority lived in the eastern states
The suburbs in South Australia were basically small country towns
We moved from Northfield to Salisbury
Which still had horse troughs in the main street and there were still farms with return veranda houses
We didn’t lock our homes or our cars
In the hot weather we slept on the front lawn
Small businesses treated people as valued customers
The bus driver would drop children off at their front door if it were raining
I could phone home from a public phone box even if I had no money
I just asked the operator to put me through
Everyone was friendly and they helped each other
Salisbury is now the suburb from hell
When I first moved to Goolwa it was basically a country town

Everyone said “Hello” whether they knew you or not
And small businesses treated us like valued customers and friends
These days no one says hello unless they know you
People are rude and impatient and only a few small businesses have been able to afford to stay in business
The meaning behind my story is that the human plague isn’t just bad for the ecology and other life forms it is bad for humans too

A SHORT STORY ABOUT HEALING THE BLUE PLANET
I wrote and published this sci fi short story a few years ago (under the above title) when the human population was only 7.4 billion:
(1st published 4th April 2017)
It is now 8 billion.
Our cultural norms and the Protestant Ethic are causing the extinction of all life.
I wrote this as social satire and sympathetic magic
I realize my writing style doesn’t fit what people expect
My excuse –I majored in sociology not literature 😛
I wanted to put my idea that humans are not indigenous to the planet
A few lines from this short story:
“Most humans think that those who live in harmony with the environment are primitive and inferior. Actually they don’t think.
They just mindlessly conform to what those in power and their entertainment media tell them.
They are really stupid but consider themselves superior to all other life forms because they talk:
They think if something or someone doesn’t talk they don’t understand.
They thoughtlessly destroy everything. They call some creatures vermin, when humans are the vermin. They kill insects and destroy all the trees despite the fact that insects and trees are essential.
And everything literally goes down the drain polluting the oceans instead of nourishing other life.”
In the following book I hope to help those who wish to develop their clairvoyant abilities.
In “The Clairvoyant Experiences Of A Sceptic” I told a few of my clairvoyant experiences.
Listening to others similar stories made me realize that
it is so much better if you can have these experiences first hand.
Kung fu tz (Confucius) say “Perseverance prospers”
So don’t give up – you will succeed
And use the recorded meditations in my blog
The clairvoyant Experiences of a Sceptic is not a literary masterpiece
but a true story. I majored in sociology not literature
I dont know the meaning of life:
nor understand the nature of reality:
I do know physical death is not the end.
And there are so many amazing stories omitted so as not to break client confidentiality.
The second part I wrote as therapy and had not intended to include.
It wasn’t included in the original l publication
( I started shaking when I tried to write about the abuse so it is badly written and a great deal omitted)
Namaste
I love the meaning of this word
The quote is from chopra.com One of the most common translations of namasté is “The divine light in me bows to the divine light within you.”

Bay Leaf Spell
Prepare a container with live coals or charcoal blocks:
Scatter crumbled bay leaves over them:
concentrate on the wish you are making:
Chant:
“Bay leaf burn fire
Draw to me my heart’s desire.”
Speak of your wish aloud:
And repeat the ritual thrice.

I just wish I could wiggle my nose like Samantha and the house would be clean and dishes washed 😛

Blessed be
and be kind to non- human life forms.

( I started shaking when I tried to write about the abuse so it is badly written and a great deal omitted)
Someone recently said to me that women still dont have equal rights
to which I replied
–but they are much better than they were in my day
In the 1960’s my boyfriend drove to the middle of nowhere late at night
Parked his fj holden and said
“Come across or walk home”
I got pregnant
When I went to the doctor he said ” You conceived the first or second of June”
I said “The 2nd”
The doctor asked how I knew and I said
“I have only done it twice”
I was considered a whore and a tramp
And treated with disdain
And forced to marry
I had a government job working with computers that were the size of wardrobes in refrigerated rooms
A job that I had sat an entrance exam for
Only the top one percent were employed
I had to give up this job because married women were not allowed to hold government jobs
My husband habitually would fight with his boss and quit
There was no social security so I got work as a barmaid at night
And was abused by other women for working when I had a child/children
My husband who was 6 foot 4 inches and twenty stone constantly hit me
When I was having my face stitched at hospital on one occasion the RN said
”My husband doesn’t hit me” – implying I deserved it
Everyone told me I must have deserved it
I believed for decades that I did
I went to a solicitor to get a divorce and was told abuse wasn’t grounds for divorce: I had to prove adultery
On more than one occasion when I called the police they would take one look at him and just leave
At one time my husband chased me wielding an axe
Fortunately the neighbours saved me by keeping me in their house
The police treated me as if I were the criminal
So I went to the police station and confronted them
They said
“You always go back”
To which I replied
“There is no where to go”
Women had no rights nor status
We couldn’t have a bank account
We couldn’t buy a house
and landlords would not rent to separated women
When I was finally able to leave this relationship the second man I married was
“past master of mental cruelty”
as his first wife (already remarried) warned me
I realize that even today in many jobs women are paid seventy five percent of a man’s wage
and considered subordinate to men
Hopefully this will eventually change
I tried my best to practice ahimsa before I was aware of this word/concept
Impossible in a culture that believes only humans have a soul and only money matters
I get upset when people kill insects
I stopped being friends with a man who stomped on an insect that was crawling past us when we were sitting outside.
Imagine the damage done by 8 billion humans needlessly killing insects
And also the damage done by this species poisoning “weeds”
I Have fed the local birds ever since I moved here
Mindless automatons tell me
“Do not to feed the birds -they are meant to find their own food”
It doesn’t occur to them that the human plague (of 8 Billion) has destroyed the homes and food sources of all other life – making so many extinct.
I feed the crows too –one neighbour has complained about their noise
The other has told me that she likes the Ibis (that I feed) but not the crow.
Crows like many other life forms are disliked because of cultural programming
The crow I feed, feeds the baby before she? feeds herself
I wasn’t able to take a photo because the baby flies away when I walk outside – comes back when I go in.
Humans have this effect on me — have said I am anthrophobic for decades – don’t think it is an actual word)
I have always been a misfit in a culture –
Where sociopaths are successful
Psychopaths glorified
And it is necessary to be a mindless automaton to fit in.
Considering all the positive changes in my life time I am optimistic that
the caring, intelligent people will prevail and stop all life from becoming extinct.
Enjoy your day
My motivation for reblogging this is petty
Blaming pain and sleep deprivation for my continued resentment mode
After my second divorce I reverted to my maiden name
Since then on many occasions I have been criticised for never marrying
Or patronisingly called “Miss”
Which I detest
To label someone from my era as an old maid is the worst insult
These days the younger generation think they are shocking me by saying that they are gay or bi or walk around their house naked.
Seriously I am Flower Power Generation
My Wiccan tradition works skyclad (naked):
When I used to go to our local nudist beach: people would be both disgusted and horrified.

I would say “Yes! If God wanted us to be naked we would have been born that way.”
On each occasion I was just given a blank look:
Seriously, who wasn’t born naked ?
I have not been to this beach in a long time:
In the days that I went there everyone was friendly, like people in a country town, but apparently, and sadly, these days, it has a few creeps with binoculars sitting on the cliffs.
I was in “Women’s Liberation”
Women had no rights and no status and the majority of women believed this was how it should be.
We couldn’t buy a house and landlords would not rent to separated women:
I Googled this — “Women also faced financial discrimination and were seen as a high-risk investment by banks as little as just 50 years ago. It wasn’t until 1975 that women could open a bank account in their own name.”
My first job in the 1960’s was working with computers — which were the size of wardrobes in a refridgerated room:
A job that I was forced to give up because married women were not allowed to hold government jobs.
I only married because i was pregnant and unmarried women werew forced to give up their children.
A woman was expected to stay a virgin until she was married:
A man was expected to be promiscuous:
Never understood how that worked:
In the 1950s gay men were put into a mental institution (in South Australia — think it was prison in other countries)
AND THEN CAME THE SEXUAL REVOLUTION.
Thanks to us — the Flower Power generation 😀
YIPPEE!
Gays could stop pretending that they were heterosexual.
And women could enjoy sex.
Blessed be
and be kind to non humans

I took this photo last century on Kangaroo Island
Western medicine saved my grandson’s life:
Has helped my eldest granddaughter with thyroid problem:
In recent years my experience of hospitals has been a positive one—so maybe things have changed for the better
But because of past experiences I have a panic attack just thinking about medical appointments or going to hospital
Like many people i can see both sides (pros and cons) of most things
Sadly i still beieve the “cons” predominate as far as the medical system is concerned.
Once a person becomes a patient they cease to have any rights
My Dad said that he didn’t want morphine but was put on a continuous high dose until it killed him
His death certificatre of course listed an heart attack
Know many similar stories
And then there is staff attitude
Example
When I was a student nurse (trained in hospitals back then) a young man from interstate who had been working in SA had an heart attack so never had visitors because family and friends were interstate.
At handover the RN said that he was just “attention seeking” and there was nothing wrong with him
I took him to botanical gardens in my lunch break just to get him out of the hospital (which was next to botanical gardens)
While there he asked me to wheel him into the men’s toilet (there wasn’t a Disability toilet) and I refused telling him there was nothing wrong with him
HE DIED THE NEXT DAY
The medical system is controlled by drug companies that only care about profit not people:
In medical centres there is not enough time allotted to each patient hence production line people
Hospitals are “total institutions”
A person’s rights are taken from them and they are in the hands of people whose goal is to get rid of their nuisance value
This is because staff to patient ratio isn’t adequate
And then there is NOCEBOS — “pointing the bone”
(e.g. — you have less than six months to live)
some doctors have a patronising attitudes to patients:
There is always the good the bad and the indifferent:
The bad and indifferent are dangerous in an health system

I am am not an organ donor because I am aware that
if you have a 50% chance of survival and you are an organ donor — kiss your chances good bye.
In my old age I do not trust nor support western medicine
for a variety of reasons: –
I suffer from medical and surgical mistakes:
Including two major traumas
Came to under anaesthetic in the 1970s
Next time I had minor exploratory surgery –1992 – I came to with the bed perpendicular horrific chest pains and was told that they nearly didn’t get me back
Had a gynea repair in 2007 which I still suffer pain and problems from
It wasn’t until 2011 that a doctor took the trouble to find out what was wrong
She told me that the gynaecologist that performed my surgery had been reported for making mistakes before but was still practicing
At the beginning of this century I was put on triple the normal dose of meclobomide straight up — after being on this drug for several years a doctor told me that I should not be on an anti psychotic
I was put on tramadol and ignored for several years when I said I felt like the walking dead
I have had breathing difficulties for well over a decade and until 2020 told there was nothing the matter
But when I had an angiogram after an heart attack the cardiologist said my breathing difficulties were not related to my heart condition
And there’s more
A friend now deceased went to the doctors on numerous occasions saying she wasn’t well and they told her nothing was the matter
When her cancer was diagnosed she was told “If you came here sooner we could have done something”
I am aware of numerous people that have died because of medical and surgical mistakes:
some were friends or acquaintances:
some were related to people I have done clairvoyant readings for.
Both my parents died of morphine oversdose:
Dad said that he didn’t want morphine and they ignored him
Mum complained it made her too dizzy and they ignored her.
Both my parents’ death certificate listed “heart attack’ as cause of death
It puzzles me how doctors and nurses accept giving patients a continuous high dose of morphine until it kills them.
What about duty of care?i
Doctors are taught Freudian psychology
This affects the way some doctors treat women
Freud says that all women are neurotic And have penis envy
His test subjects were twelve middle class Jewish women
The majority of doctors are controlled by drug companies
Drug companies are horrifically cruel to animals:
Not just when testing drugs but when making same.
One example that I am sure few people are aware of:
They have the abattoirs leave all new borns to die of dehydration and starvation so they can harvest the hormones that this death produces.
How do I know this?
In 1982 the husband of a staff member asked that I report to the RSPCA that new born calves were left to die of dehydration and starvation:
The RSPCA staff called me a liar and a trouble maker:
I put something in writing and it was ignored.
Presumably the RSPCA is funded by drug companies and the meat industry.
Over the years since,
I have learned from people who work at the abattoirs or collect stock from them
that all new borns are left to die this way and that the drug companies ask for it.
It was my podiatrist who told me why –“The drug companies harvest the hormones produces when animals die this way.”
I presume most people know how drug companies collect Premarin = pregnant mares urine?
Another reason
Western medicine treats symptoms
not the cause
Long ago
when I dispensed drugs from the old fashion drug trolley
I noticed that I was giving one drug then another to compensate for the side effects
e.g. antispychotics cause pseudo Parkinsonism.
hence I gave out another drug for Parkinsonism.
I like “New Amsterdam”
And the movie “The Doctor”
they highlight mistakes
and that some doctors care more about advancing their career than caring for patients.
Western medicine came into being at the time of the “Inquisition”
when village herbalists were executed and replaced by male doctors.
Eastern medicine diagnoses using iridology and kinesiology
and treats with acupuncture and herbal remedies.
I was including this Monty Python sketch to highlight doctor’s attitude to patients but it reminded me of humorous events
I was working in a general hospital when Monty Pythons Meaning of Life was in the cinemas:
One doctor would say “Bring in the machine that goes Ping”
And one of the charge nurses when coming on duty would say “morning
morning” –like fish scene.
Be well
be happy
