IF YOU ARE A MISFIT

YOU ARE PROBABLY AN ORIGINAL THINKER

Who wants to fit into a culture where sociopaths succeed

psychopaths are glorified

and mindless automatons fit in

A culture that stereotypes and categorizes

Where attractive people are considered the good guys and intelligent

Where overweight, disabled and “unattractive’ people are considered idiots and villians (thanks partly to movies and tv  where the hero is always attractive)

Without “misfits” things would never change

HAIL TO THEE ORIGINAL THINKERS

From THE MATRIX

“Most of these people are not ready to be unplugged and many are so inured; so hopelessly dependant on the system that they will fight to protect it”

When I was younger I thought that there was something wrong with me because our culture didn’t make sense to me.

 I had no self confidence.

I had 63 years and eight months of physical and mental abuse from my mother who had the average mindless automaton convinced that she was all sweetness and light and I was horrible to her.

for 63 years and eight months she told me “You are useless; a failure; a disappointment –neither use nor ornament – you cannot do anything right”

The physical abuse was scary but the psychological abuse did irreparable damage; coloured who I am and how others saw me.

I had two abusive husbands.

Now that I am old and wise I realize our cultural norms are wrong.

We don’t respect other life forms.

Actually believe we have the right to torture them and

destroy their habitat.

I believe in ahimsa —

yesterday a fly was buzzing around the bathroom skylight –trying to get out

–I opened the back door and shooed it out.

AHIMSA

A SHORT STORY ABOUT HEALING THE  BLUE PLANET

I wrote and published this sci fi short story a few years ago (under the above title) when the human population was only 7.4 billion:

(1st published 4th April 2017)

It is now more than 8.4 billion.

I wrote this short story as social satire and sympathetic magic

The idea that we were genetically engineered is from Mayan writings plus my belief that humans are not indigenous to the planet

The concept of translocation was once a practice pre Roman Empire and apparently still is in some so called primitive cultures

The idea that humans were livestock for the gods is mine but am sure others have thought this

I chose Ophiuchus because I was I was drawn to this constellation

The clairvoyant Experiences of a Sceptic is not a literary masterpiece

but a true story.

If you think that death is the end this book will make you question that assumption:

In the 1970’s I was intrigued by psychic abilities:

A fellow student at teachers college introduced me to Spiritualism:

I thought people were way too gullible.

I went from thinking silly humans are afraid of dying and are making the information fit to realizing that sometimes the communication with those who have died is genuine.

There are so many stories that I would love to include but it would be breaking client confidentiality.
