HUMAN PLAGUE

I started reading sci fi anthologies when I was twelve

Mainly so I could read Asimov short stories

In one of these short stories ( I cannot remember the authors name) E T’s were flying past planet earth and saw this plague destroying the planet

They exterminated the plague

I didn’t get it at the time because

The population of Australia in 1962 was approximately 10,742,291.

And the majority in the eastern states
