RE WATCHING THE MATRIX

I am re watching the original “The Matrix” (1999)

When this first came out I received several phone calls from friends saying “you’ll love this!”

I had been saying since beginning of January 1993 that we existed in an huge holodeck

This idea wasn’t original—it came from Star trek Next Generation   “Ship in a Bottle”

The Matrix is creatively brilliant

as well as its social satire

it gives us concepts that I had already considered

I am not the only person that thought so as it was an hit at the box-office

If we accept that we do not understand the nature of reality then we may become aware of how amazing we (and other life forms) are.

and how much power we have over our reality.

 A SHORT STORY ABOUT HEALING THE  BLUE PLANET

I wrote and published this sci fi short story a few years ago (under the above title) when the human population was only 7.4 billion:

(1st published 4th April 2017)

it is now 8.4 billion

I wrote this short story as social satire and sympathetic magic

The idea that we were genetically engineered is from Mayan writings plus my belief that humans are not indigenous to the planet

The concept of translocation was once a practice pre Roman Empire and apparently still is in some so called primitive cultures

He idea that humans were livestock for the gods is mine but am sure others have thought this

I chose Ophiuchus because I was I was drawn to this constellation

I chose Kunapipi because I respect and admire the wisdom and spirituality of indigenous Australians

The clairvoyant Experiences of a Sceptic is not a literary masterpiece

but a true story.

I don’t know the meaning of life:

nor understand the nature of reality:

I do know physical death is not the end.

And there are so many amazing stories omitted so as not to break client confidentiality.

The second part I wrote as therapy and had not intended to include.

( I started shaking when I tried to write about the abuse so it is badly written and a great deal omitted)
