I am tired of being treated with contempt and lectured for not killing insects and not using toxins

Reminds me of attitudes in the 1970s when I was in the original Greenpeace and animal lib—we were ridiculed and abused

The W.A.S.P. attitude that only humans and money matter is causing the extinction of all life

  1. Yesterday, I watched/commented on another of those videos where someone pours molten metal over an ant mound…
    The sheer amount of glee that was commented over the extermination of the ants… so sad.

    I only watched because the actual mound looked to me that it was an abandoned one (not inhabited), and that’s what I visualized the whole time watching.

    Unless one lives in a bubble, killing insects is almost an everyday occurrence.
    That doesn’t mean we should be happy about it.

    But it’s fire ants, and they are a pesky nuisanc. There’s no real reason they should live, they say.
    (sigh)
