Trees

THERE IS A TREE MEDITATION IN THIS POST

trees

I am frequently told trees are a fire hazard

Trees don’t light: fires humans do!

Human arsonists have set fire to the side of my property at Goolwa after torching the local bushland.

So the way to stop bushfires would be to get rid of arsonists –not trees

Someone recently said

“trees belong in the bush” (referring to natives)

To which I replied

“they are in the bush –we moved in”

I was on a corner block

The neighbour behind me and to the northeast removed all trees from their properties

and the neighbour next to me chopped down all the trees — the original owner loved trees.

The council  removed a tree  opposite where I lived

It wasn’t in the way of anything –not even impinging on the footpath

After it was chopped three magpies stood by the stump

Their home gone

these babies were “roadkill” a fortnight later — young birds panic when a car is coming at them and dont know which way to move

I am opposed to absolute ideologies (fascism) so I do not impose my ideas on others.

But I am tired of others imposing their views on me.

I am sick of people telling me to get rid of trees.

Trees are essential for the air and soil.

And essential for other life forms

Considering famous people like David Attenborough have been ignored I am not expecting anyone taking notice of me

I think that trees should have been listed as an endangered species a century ago

and a permit required to kill one.

Real-estate development removes millions of trees destroying the homes and food source of other life forms and effecting both the soil and air.

So instead of chopping down trees lets bring in harsher penalties for arsonists.

And build our homes in harmony with the environment.

Oops I forgot: People believe that cultures that live in harmony with the environment and don’t worship money are primitive and therefore inferior.

I no longer belong to “Trees for Life” because they have devolved into an impotent bureaucracy. (we were expected to use poison and to kill nonindigenous plants and animals  — when I questioned “humans” as non-indigenous no one even laughed)

Not only do the multinationals rule the world they have the masses “brain washed”.

I have recorded a “Tree Meditation” it is paraphrased form MOTHER WIT by Diane Mariechild (Plant meditiation)

HUG A TREE — ask permission of the tree first

NAMASTE

IF ONLY AHIMSA WERE THE NORM

(I doubt the people in western culture even have this concept)

I was in Animal liberation in the 1970s

( we were successful in having legislation put in place for animals to be treated humanely)

Not much has changed in the last  fifty years

Humans are still horrifically cruel to animals

They are used as test subjects by drug companies and cosmetic companies:

New borns are left to die of dehydration and starvation at the abattoirs at the request of drug companies who harvest the hormones caused by this death

There is still factory farming

Production line slaughtering

The dairy industry keeps cows pregnant and the calves go to slaughter

There are still dog fights

Humans still wipe out trees and the homes of other life forms for housing development

Rodeos – the animal’s nuts are strapped to cause them to buck

I was in the original Greenpeace –we were called a dangerous radical group – Humans are still pretending population doesn’t matter

From Google

“Humans have driven the extinction of at least 881 animal species since around 1500, with many scientists suspecting the true number is far higher, possibly reaching over a million species by some estimates, including threatened ones. Plant and invertebrate extinctions are also significant but less documented. The current rate of species loss is unprecedented, leading to an ongoing sixth mass extinction, a phenomenon primarily caused by human activities like habitat destruction.  “

A SHORT STORY ABOUT HEALING THE  BLUE PLANET

I wrote and published this sci fi short story a few years ago (under the above title) when the human population was

7.4 billion:

(1st published 4th April 2017)

It is now more than 8 .2 billion

I wrote this short story as social satire and sympathetic magic

The idea that we were genetically engineered is from Mayan writings plus my belief that humans are not indigenous to the planet

The concept of translocation was once a practice pre Roman Empire and apparently still is in some so called primitive cultures

The idea that humans were livestock for the gods is mine but am sure others have thought this

I chose Ophiuchus because I was I was drawn to this constellation

I chose Kunapipi because I respect and admire the wisdom and spirituality of indigenous Australians

The clairvoyant Experiences of a Sceptic is not a literary masterpiece

but a true story.

I don’t know the meaning of life:

nor understand the nature of reality:

I do know physical death is not the end.

And there are so many amazing stories omitted so as not to break client confidentiality.

The second part I wrote as therapy and had not intended to include.

It wasn’t included in the original l publication

( I started shaking when I tried to write about the abuse so it is badly written and a great deal omitted)

ACENTUATE THE POSITIVES

I was going to post about how humans terrify me

(who wants to fit into a culture where

sociopaths succeed

psychopaths are glorified

Lying narcissist cause irreparable harm to others

and mindless automatons fit in

A culture that stereotypes and categorizes

Where attractive people are considered the good guys and intelligent–(thanks partly to movies and tv  where the hero is always attractive)

My generation (The Flower Power Generation)

have been the catalyst for change

I was in “Women’s Liberation”

Women had no rights and no status and the majority of women believed this was how  it should be.

We couldn’t buy a house and landlords would not rent to separated women:
we couldnt have a bank account

a solicitor told me that abuse wasn’t grounds for divorce

I Googled this — “Women also faced financial discrimination and were seen as a high-risk investment by banks as little as just 50 years ago. It wasn’t until 1975 that women could open a bank account in their own name.”

A woman was expected to stay a virgin until she was married:

A man was expected to be promiscuous:

Never understood how that worked:

In the 1950s gay men were put into a mental institution  (in South Australia — think  it was prison in other countries)

AND THEN CAME THE SEXUAL REVOLUTION.

YIPPEE!

Gays could stop pretending that they were heterosexual.

And women could enjoy sex.

I was in the origanal GreenPeace –

Animal liberation and later Trees For Life

Greenpeace was considered a dangerous radical group and its member deviants

In the 1970s I was ridiculed and abused for being a vegetarian

This century environmental groups have devolved into impotent bureaucracies

BUT

On a positive note

thanks to both social media and the media

more are aware of the problems humans have and are causing

ACENTUATING THE POSITIVE =

more people care about the enviroment

more respect cultures

more respect sexual prefrences

and more are vegans

 be kind to  non humans

Magic — creating our own reality

this picture is from Facebook

I believed we created our own reality by our thoughts; words and of course actions in the 1970s:

I taught “would be witches” how to manifest!

Emotion empowers: Intent is what matters

A couple of years ago I spat the dummy and thought:

“What a load of crock! If I created reality my life would have been so much better.

Who’d choose to suffer almost a life time of abuse etc!”

What about people with disabilities?

Since I first wrote this blog a concept came into my head when meditating

Our cultural programming stops us from feeling empowered

The concept of an hierarchical  structure:

that there is someone who knows better

and is more important.

In this meditation I also “got” that seeing time as linear affects our ability to create

Our indigenous Australians did  not see time as linear (until white man came and spoiled their world)

And they have powerful magic

THE WAY OF THE PEACEFUL WARRIOR

I constantly have to remind myself to be in the “NOW

From “The Way Of The Peaceful Warrior:

by Dan Millman

“Where am I? HERE!”

What time is it “NOW”

Earlier this year my *guide “told” me that I really do create my reality (it was actually a concept).

After a decade of constant pain:

sleep deprivation:

and other health issues

that prevent my doing things that  I once took for granted

I was definitely in “poor me” mode!

Reiki:  affirmations and  acupuncture lasted a day or two but it was “one step forward and two steps back“.

(*This guide whom I have been aware of since I started with the spiritual groups has given me proof of who he is

and

has taken me on astral journeys with him in his life time.

We were in an Egyptian reed canoe.

Which I later checked in the library because my idea of Egypt came from the movie “Cleopatra” and I was expecting lavish barges.

I brought myself out of this “astral journey?” because it was too violent for me. We were in a battle zone.

One thing that really amazed me was-

back in the seventies pyramid power was a fad.

I asked my guide who is a Nubian Egyptian about pyramids.

He told me that pyramids refract electromagnetic waves as a prism refracts light.

I had no idea what electromagnetic waves were and in the nineteen seventies it was difficult to find information.)

THE WITCHES PYRAMID

(from my Book Of Shadows)

“TO KNOW: TO DARE:  TO WILL and TO KEEP SILENT”

TO KNOW: This includes knowing the laws you are working with; e.g. Law of cause and effect:

The more I know; the less I know that I know

which may seem “Irish”

but seriously I certainly don’t understand the nature of this reality!

Know ones self: and most importantly know that you will succeed in your undertaking.

TO DARE: overcome fears and hindrances especially those inculcated by our culture.

TO WILL: Emotions are the power behind manifesting.

So believe in yourself:

Intention is what directs the manifestation.

My manifestations have succeeded when I have known they will manifest.

Actually I see them as already manifested.

In the beginning I found this part difficult so I had this attitude “I believe this will happen/ manifest but if it doesn’t I don’t care “ And they manifested.

Another way is to inculcate what you are trying to manifest. Use a verbal spell or word power: record this and play it continually -Make it a song if you like.

TO KEEP SILENT: Other peoples thoughts and words will effect what you are doing so you don’t tell anyone!

me at the very first Australian Wiccan conference–early 1980s

I snapped my self out of my “What a lot of crock?” attitude by reminding myself of all the things that I have manifested.

Considering I started doing this in the late seventies there are numerous examples.

The one I would like to share is about a puppy/dog:

My parents (now deceased) lived in a very small housing Trust unit. There was a back “yard” which all units were meant to share. Their neighbour on the western side had fenced of his back yard and also bricked up most of the space as a garden. They had gotten numerous small dogs all of which managed to get out some how and run away. They eventually got a Labrador pup. Which was mostly locked in a wooden box he called its kennel! One day when this pup was actually out of the box and growing I noticed blood around her neck . Her collar was too tight and cutting her neck as she grew I reached through the fence and loosened her collar. After this, the neighbour put barbed wire on the fence at many levels so that there was no way I could reach the dog!

My mother insisted that I wasn’t to call the RSPCA because she didn’t want conflict with their neighbours.  I always did what my mother said. I was terrified of her.

I had this dog on my healing list and started to visualize her living happily with a new owner.

Unfortunately it was approximately six months before this manifested.

My parents neighbour offered the dog to me!

I had a Bully/ Kelpie cross at this time, who was so grumpy to Cerri the dog:  Doing his “I’m top dog here routine” That I knew it wasn’t a good home for her. Her eyes were glazed with fear. I mentioned it to a local business owner and she said that she would take the dog to live on their property. ( My dog fretted for weeks after she Cerri left.)

I dont have any pictures of Cerri but this is Buster

Cerri had a long and happy life: is now deceased.

Sadly I don’t have any picture of Cerri I was more worried about getting her well than taking her photo at the time.

VEGAN

I am so happy to know that so many humans care about other life forms

The way most people feel about cannibalism is how I feel about eating animals

I have been vegetarian since the 1970s and when I was younger i used to cook meat for my family but this century I have refused to cook meat

I found this picture years ago but do not know who to give the credit to.

In South Australia in the 1970’s and 80’s vegetarians and vegans were not catered for.

There was a cafe on the corner of Hindmarsh Square and Rundle Street Adelaide, called “Carrots” :

one restaurant that catered for vegans

and  a Lebanese restaurant  that offered a vegetarian platter.

The only vegetarian food one could buy was by Sanitarium

which was, and am guessing still is, owned by the Seventh-day Adventist church.

(And very much appreciated — Thank you Seventh Day Adventists)

We were ridiculed and abused by those in pubs, restaurants and people generally.

I made my own burghers using lentils, vegetable and bread crumbs and at a surprise birthday party for my (now ex) husband all the carnivores were eating these:

not realizing they had no meat.

I didn’t insist my family were vegetarian

I would make a vegetarian dish to share

and also cook meat.

If I ate meat I would have night mares about being an animal in a slaughter house.

I object to factory farming and production line slaughter.

Of course the reason the setup is this way is there are way to many humans.

I didn’t want to eat meat as a child:

for refusing I received a bashing from  my mother:

she threatened to have me put in a mental institution

and served me the same meal for breakfast lunch and tea until I ate it.

I have allowed myself to eat meat on a few occasions over the years usually because I was anaemic

The night mares return plus my digestive system doesn’t handle meat.

In this day and age when there are so many vegans, I never expected to be ridiculed but it has happened on several occasions.

I complimented one woman on having soy milk in her coffee and she abused the hell out of me:
Said that she wasn’t vegan (which according to her is worse than leprosy ) she had soy milk because she liked it.

It is important to me that I am always honest so I must confess that sadly  I have only been  a part time vegan— but still vegetarian:

Hoping this time around I will stay vegan.

If I ate eggs I bought those produced locally as I have been to the farm where the chickens are and I would live where they live  😀

I cannot watch cooking shows:

Haven’t cooked meat for anyone since 1998

I am horrified that people think eating creature that is boiled alive is a treat.

A friend asked me why vegans avoid dairy :

I explained that the cows are kept continually pregnant:

the calves go to slaughter and their mothers know.

In my opinion the drug companies are worse than the meat industry.

In 1982 the husband of one of my staff asked me to report that suckie calves were left to die of dehydration & starvation.

I was told by someone who bought stock that

all new borns are just left to die that way.

In 1982 I reported what was told to me to the RSPCA who called me a liar and a trouble maker.

I put something inwriting but it was ignored.

Animal Liberation told me to write to my politician.

Nothing.

Years later an acquaintance who had worked in the abattoirs told me that the drug companies ask for this.

And my podiatrist  (an animal activist) told me that the drug companies collect hormones from this type of death.

People just don’t want to know.

SAW THIS ON FACEBOOK — THIS IS ALSO MY OPINION

In “The Clairvoyant Experiences Of A Sceptic” I told a few of my clairvoyant experiences.

Listening to others similar stories made me realize that

MAGIC/QUANTUM PHYSICS

What we label as magic is actually quantum physics

Einstein’s  E = mc2

I understood that time decrease with velocity in my teens (1960s)

But it is thanks to Star Trek that I realized that matter and energy are interchangeable

“Energy equals mass times the speed of light squared.” On the most basic level, the equation says that energy and mass (matter) are interchangeable; they are different forms of the same thing. Under the right conditions, energy can become mass, and vice versa.” From PBS.org

I questioned my spirit guides about  life after death and was “told” “can you conceptualize no linear time?” when I answered “no” they said that they couldn’t explain

I can accept that there is nonlinear time but I cannot conceptualize it

If you think that death is the end this book will make you question that assumption:

In the 1970’s I was intrigued by psychic abilities:

A fellow student at teachers college introduced me to Spiritualism:

I thought people were way too gullible.

I went from thinking silly humans are afraid of dying and are making the information fit to realizing that sometimes the communication with those who have died is genuine.

There are so many stories that I would love to include but it would be breaking client confidentiality.

I deleted my personal history from the original book presuming people would not want to know about the abuse. A concept that was inculcated decades ago. I have since included it again.

Just noticed it has four stars

LIFE AFTER DEATH

WHAT THE BLEEP DO WE KNOW

People tend to believe that a belief in God and heaven is necessary for a belief in an “afterlife”

Surviving death isn’t synonymous with a religious belief.

We do not understand the nature of reality.

(or at least I don’t)

It appears we exist in an alternate reality when we are “not here”! In this reality the electrons are apparently moving at a different speed around the protons and neutrons so it is out of phase. ( This is my very limited understanding of quantum physics)

Another misconception is that people have to be “earth bound” to communicate with the living:

NOT SO!

I asked “clairvoyantly” about “the meaning of life” which strangely enough isn’t 42 (Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy)

The answer I got was more a concept than words but translated:

I was asked if I could conceptualize NO LINEAR TIME and when I said “No” I was told that “they” couldn’t explain.

We may all be in a huge holodeck:

As suggested by Star Trek Next Generation —

And  “What The Bleep”

“Ship In A Bottle” season six — Star Trek Next Geneeration

In the “special features” of What the “Bleep” they mention that Professor WilliamTiller gives the mathematical constructs of a hologram that we “are” living in.

(William A. Tiller is a professor emeritus of materials science and engineering at Stanford University)

Until the following I suspected clairvoyance was wishful thinking and vivid imagination

The incident that convinced me that clairvoyance was a reality happened at work. I was a student nurse at Strathmont Centre.  I was washing dishes with a male staff nurse. We didn’t have kitchen hands in those days.  Kym was six feet tall and rather heavy set and had long blonde hair. A man (deceased) flashed in (when I see or hear things they flash in a fraction of a second) He had Kym’s high forehead and similar features but wore a suit with a crepe ribbon and a cross and had a short back and sides haircut and dark hair.

I asked Kym if his father was a minister. He asked me why and initially I would not answer. I eventually told him what I saw and Kym told me that it was his uncle. He asked me what denomination his uncle was.

I did not know.

After Kym left the kitchen I asked his uncle, whom I could no longer “see”, what he had died of.  The words were that fast all I could make out was sclerosis. Because we were with the intellectually disabled I thought “tubular sclerosis?” Then I realized it was multiple sclerosis.

When we were having a tea break Kym told me that his uncle died of multiple sclerosis. I was amazed and said that his uncle had “told” me this!

Kym said “Get more”! I informed him that I couldn’t.

But I saw panama hats and monkeys. I said “He was a missionary in South America” Kym said “Yes”.

I then saw masks and a jungle and said he was also a missionary in New Guinea. Kym told me this wasn’t so.  When Kym came to work the next day, he said that his mother had confirmed that her brother was a missionary in New Guinea. This showed that I wasn’t just reading Kym’s mind.

( I started shaking when I tried to write about the abuse so it is badly written and a great deal omitted)

A SHORT STORY ABOUT HEALING THE  BLUE PLANET

I wrote and published this sci fi short story a few years ago (under the above title) when the human population was

 7.4 billion:

(1st published 4th April 2017)

It is now more than 8 billion.
