Until the following I suspected clairvoyance was wishful thinking and vivid imagination
The incident that convinced me that clairvoyance was a reality happened at work. I was a student nurse at Strathmont Centre. I was washing dishes with a male staff nurse. We didn’t have kitchen hands in those days. Kym was six feet tall and rather heavy set and had long blonde hair. A man (deceased) flashed in (when I see or hear things they flash in a fraction of a second) He had Kym’s high forehead and similar features but wore a suit with a crepe ribbon and a cross and had a short back and sides haircut and dark hair.
I asked Kym if his father was a minister. He asked me why and initially I would not answer. I eventually told him what I saw and Kym told me that it was his uncle. He asked me what denomination his uncle was.
I did not know.
After Kym left the kitchen I asked his uncle, whom I could no longer “see”, what he had died of. The words were that fast all I could make out was sclerosis. Because we were with the intellectually disabled I thought “tubular sclerosis?” Then I realized it was multiple sclerosis.
When we were having a tea break Kym told me that his uncle died of multiple sclerosis. I was amazed and said that his uncle had “told” me this!
Kym said “Get more”! I informed him that I couldn’t.
But I saw panama hats and monkeys. I said “He was a missionary in South America” Kym said “Yes”.
I then saw masks and a jungle and said he was also a missionary in New Guinea. Kym told me this wasn’t so. When Kym came to work the next day, he said that his mother had confirmed that her brother was a missionary in New Guinea. This showed that I wasn’t just reading Kym’s mind.

I wrote and published this sci fi short story a few years ago (under the above title) when the human population was
7.4 billion:
(1st published 4th April 2017)
It is now more than 8 billion.
I wrote this short story as social satire and sympathetic magic
The idea that we were genetically engineered is from Mayan writings plus my belief that humans are not indigenous to the planet
The concept of translocation was once a practice pre Roman Empire and apparently still is in some so called primitive cultures
The idea that humans were livestock for the gods is mine but am sure others have thought this
I chose Ophiuchus because I was I was drawn to this constellation
This was the first blog that I wrote in April 2012.
Being true to ones self is much more than just being honest. This Shakespeare quote is how I try to live my life.
Our culture operates on the assumption that people are honest and truthful yet this often isn’t so.
On a “white lie” level; how often do people say what they think the other person wants to hear or simply tell a lie to get attention? Sadly, lying, cheating stealing and scams are rampant. On the other hand one could argue that telling the truth is not always kind.
I feel so strongly about telling the truth as I believe it to be that even if I accidentally lie I feel guilty. What I write I believe either to be true or possible. I am not “into” absolute ideologies, so I acknowledge this is only my opinion.

In my life time society’s attitude to clairvoyance and associated philosophy’s has improved along with attitudes to minority groups such as women; different races; sexual preference; etc.
Although there are still many “out there” who consider clairvoyance to be a con at best and evil at worst.
People are free to believe as they choose and I have no desire to alter people’s beliefs or opinions.
I do not require others to believe as I do to make it true.
The clairvoyants that I know (including myself) are genuine and honest and coming from integrrity. I am very aware that there are charaltans who are more interested in making money than helping people. How prevalent this is, is dificult to ascertain. I was made aware of a scam last century where people who went for readings were told that an “hex” had been put on them and were told it would cost $2,000 to remove same. No doubt similar scams still happen.
The way to avoid being conned is to tust ones “gut”! To quote or maybe para phrase Dr. Deepak Chopra: We should always trust our gut. Every cell in our bodies has neuropeptides which means every cell thinks. It is better to trust your gut because it hasn’t learned to doubt what it thinks.
I am able to “see and communicate” with people that have died as well as other discarnate beings. I know that my clairvoyant ability is genuine because I was extremely sceptical in the 1970’s when I first participated in Spiritualist psychic developement groups. I made sure that I was being honest with myself so that I knew that I was really “seeing”.
Everyone is clairvoyant. Because we live in a culture that denies the existence of this ability; the ability atrophies.
When I “see”(clairvoyance); “hear” (clairaudience) or “feel” (clairsensience); it flashes in a fraction of a second. The Spiritualists would train us to remembr by putting numerous items on a tray: Covering same with a tea towel; removing towel for a fraction of a second and then cover the items again. We had to see how many items we could remember and describe.
Knowing that I have helped someone by proving that their loved one is genuinely communicating is my greatest reward. I am not interested in the payment, although I don’t refuse the money. I have done readings for an exchange or for free in some circumstances.
My first paid reading for the public was in 1980 when I worked in a coffee lounge called “The Sixth Sense” which was in O’Connell Street, North Adelaide.
Despite my clairvoyant awareness and experiences I do not claim to understand the nature of reality. I have my theories but am also aware that these theories are limited by the cultural and personal concepts that I have. Even analogies cannot really help me understand this multi universe and what is beyond.
I realize that I have gone off on a tangent from the original title but this is something that I often do so in essence I am still being true to myself.
Long before the movie “The Matrix” came out I used to say to people in my psychic development groups —“Imagine we are in a virtual reality.” The movie “the Matrix” is creatively brilliant. The surreal colour: The names of the characters: The way the dialogue was presented: the social satire. And it questions “what is real”
(I awoke this morning thinking of how people believed my mother’s lies
I loved her despite 63 years of her physical and mental abuse
People would lecture me and treat me with contempt for being horrible to my mother
She also told lies about my Dad
One story he was abusive (not true)
Another slept with other women
Another he was gay
As a child I knew when people were lying and presumed everyone did)

CREATIVE CONSCIOUSNESS MEDITATION
This is a visualization meditation
You create a sacred space which you use for healing
talking with friends
solving problems
creating anything that you wish

The colours and numbers take your consciousness to alpha.
MEDITATION
Relax: centre: and protect yourself.
Breathe deeper and slower that you normally would.
Visualize the colour RED and know that you are becoming more relaxed.
Now visualize ORANGE
YELLOW
GREEN
BLUE: you are very relaxed and calm now.
INDIGO
VIOLET
You are now on a beach. Feel the sand between your toes. Smell the sea air. Hear the seagulls and the thunder of the waves. Stay here a while relaxing.
You see an hole in the cliff face and start walking toward this.
You enter and find yourself in a cave lit by phosphorescent fungi.
There are steps going down.
You descend these steps.

There is a door in front of you.
You open this door.
This is your sacred space:
You create this yourself.
The more that you use this meditation the more powerful it will become.

MISCONCEPTIONS
I realize some people still equate witches with evil people who sacrifice animals.
Not us!
I moved to a retirement village at the end of April 2023 – I have only told one person in the village that I am a witch and a clairvoyant –this age group definitely think witches are evil –am wearing my pentagram today no one has noticed
My tradition is Alexandrian/Gardenarian and we work sky clad
I became interested in the 1970’s – my first degree initiation was 1983

The concept that witches were evil began at the inquisition when the Church of Rome was trying to get rid of the Old Religion and the women herbalists.

The Satanists, who we are sometimes equated with, got their ideas from Malleus Maleficarum,
which is about how to torture people to get them to say they worship the devil and not about witchcraft as it says if you Google!
Our rituals are similar to American Indian rituals –at least the one I am aware of, which is Sioux tradition.
After telling a friend that I used to lecture on Wicca in the 1980s and early 1990s –
I told her that in the 1990s when it was becoming popular it attracted a lot of people to training courses
Her reply was “you must have made a lot of money“
WE DID NOT CHARGE
Neophytes were asked to donate for candles and incense.
Back to witches not being evil.
I will not kill anything — Not spiders: mice: insects: trees –
I believe everything that exists has consciousness and deserves respect.
I have cried on many occasions because I haven’t been able to save a bird: animal or reptile that had been hit by a car – at least I move them off the road so that they are not continuously run over.
I get upset when moths throw themselves at the window to get to the light.
This doesn’t mean there are not people out there calling themselves witches and killing animals.
Male witches are called witches,
so if someone claims to be a warlock be suspicious.

For those who don’t want to know that the human plague is making all life extinct because they believe they cannot do anything about it
KUNG FU TZ (Confucius) SAY—- “Better to light one small candle than to curse the darkness”
When I was growing up the population of the whole of Australia was 9million
And the majority lived in the eastern states
The suburbs in South Australia were basically small country towns
We moved from Northfield to Salisbury
Which still had horse troughs in the main street and there were still farms with return veranda houses
We didn’t lock our homes or our cars
In the hot weather we slept on the front lawn
Small businesses treated people as valued customers
The bus driver would drop children off at their front door if it were raining
I could phone home from a public phone box even if I had no money
I just asked the operator to put me through
Everyone was friendly and they helped each other
Salisbury is now the suburb from hell
When I first moved to Goolwa it was basically a country town





Everyone said “Hello” whether they knew you or not
And small businesses treated us like valued customers and friends
These days no one says hello unless they know you
People are rude and impatient and only a few small businesses have been able to afford to stay in business
The meaning behind my story is that the human plague isn’t just bad for the ecology and other life forms it is bad for humans too
