Christmas was originally the pagan festival of Yule — Mid Winter — moved a few days: Every church festival was originally a pagan festival. The church of Rome incorporated them because they couldn’t get rid of same.
After the emperor Constantine made Christianity the religion of Rome there was a meeting at Niacea to decide what to put in the New Testament and what to leave out..
With a huge empire it was easier to control the masses with a religion. Hence the Inquisition to get rid of the Old Religion and the women healers who had– herbal remedies: contraception and abortion and replace the with men who used leeches and blood-letting: Couldn’t have contraception if you wanted to populate armies.
The Wheel of the Year is from my Book of Shadows:

Have a Merry Christmas: Blessed Yule: or Blessed Litha (Summer Solstice)
AND BE BLESSED
MISCONCEPTIONS
I realize some people still equate witches with evil people who sacrifice animals.
Not us!
I became interested in Wicca in the 1970s because it was a philosophy that cared about the environment and other life forms
LOVE AND RESPECT MOTHER EARTH
I liked Buddhism but found that Australian Buddhists changed Buddhism to suit their WASP philosophies
The few Wiccans I knew back then certainly cared about the environment
I was a member of the original Greenpeace and we were labelled a dangerous radical group because we advocated for the environment
My tradition is Alexandrian/Gardenarian and we work sky clad
I became interested in the 1970’s – my first degree initiation was 1983
This is the first page of my Book of Shadows started in 1983

“Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfil
An it harm NONE
Do what thou will”
The concept that witches were evil began at the inquisition when the Church of Rome was trying to get rid of the Old Religion and the women herbalists.

The Satanists, who we are sometimes equated with, got their ideas from Malleus Maleficarum,
which is about how to torture people to get them to say they worship the devil and not about witchcraft as it says if you Google!
Our rituals are similar to American Indian rituals –at least the one I am aware of, which is Sioux tradition.
After telling a friend that I used to lecture on Wicca
I told her that in the 1990s when it was becoming popular it attracted a lot of people to training courses
Her reply was “you must have made a lot of money“
WE DID NOT CHARGE
Neophytes were asked to donate for candles and incense.
Back to witches not being evil.
I will not kill anything — Not spiders: mice: insects: trees –
I believe everything that exists has consciousness and deserves respect.
I have cried on many occasions because I haven’t been able to save a bird: animal or reptile that had been hit by a car – at least I move them off the road so that they are not continuously run over.
I get upset when moths throw themselves at the window to get to the light.
This doesn’t mean there are not people out there calling themselves witches and killing animals.
Male witches are called witches,
so if someone claims to be a warlock be suspicious.
***
The following words had different meanings once:
Wicca meant wise or to bend
Heathen = dweller on the heath
Pagan = village dweller
Weird = magic
Sinister = left-handed
***
Blessed be
and be kind to non humans

P.S. I’ve just returned from the dining room in the retirement village where I live
People at my table were discussing a poison that kills snails
It upsets and infuriates me that humans think they have the right kill other life forms
I should have called this book LIFE AFTER DEATH as my experiences convinced me that this life isn’t all that there is – mind you the last time I posted a blog with this title it only got 2 likes – guess I am threatening the status quo
The clairvoyant Experiences of a Sceptic is not a literary masterpiece
but a true story.
I dont know the meaning of life:
nor understand the nature of reality:
I do know physical death is not the end.
And there are so many amazing stories omitted so as not to break client confidentiality.
The second part I wrote as therapy and had not intended to include.
It wasn’t included in the original l publication
( I started shaking when I tried to write about the abuse so it is badly written and a great deal omitted)
A SHORT STORY ABOUT HEALING THE BLUE PLANET
I wrote and published this sci fi short story a few years ago (under the above title) when the human population was only 7.4 billion:
(1st published 4th April 2017)
It is now more than 8 billion
I wrote this short story as social satire and sympathetic magic
The idea that we were genetically engineered is from Mayan writings plus my belief that humans are not indigenous to the planet
The concept of translocation was once a practice pre Roman Empire and apparently still is in some so called primitive cultures
He idea that humans were livestock for the gods is mine but am sure others have thought this
I chose Ophiuchus because I was I was drawn to this constellation
I chose Kunapipi because I respect and admire the wisdom and spirituality of indigenous Australians
For those who don’t want to know that the human plague is making all life extinct because they believe they cannot do anything about it
KUNG FU TZ (Confucius) SAY—- “Better to light one small candle than to curse the darkness”
When I was growing up the population of the whole of Australia was 9million
And the majority lived in the eastern states
The suburbs in South Australia were basically small country towns
We moved from Northfield to Salisbury
Which still had horse troughs in the main street and there were still farms with return veranda houses
We didn’t lock our homes or our cars
In the hot weather we slept on the front lawn
Small businesses treated people as valued customers
The bus driver would drop children off at their front door if it were raining
I could phone home from a public phone box even if I had no money
I just asked the operator to put me through
Everyone was friendly and they helped each other
Salisbury is now the suburb from hell
When I first moved to Goolwa it was basically a country town

Everyone said “Hello” whether they knew you or not
And small businesses treated us like valued customers and friends
These days no one says hello unless they know you
People are rude and impatient and only a few small businesses have been able to afford to stay in business
The meaning behind my story is that the human plague isn’t just bad for the ecology and other life forms it is bad for humans too

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT READS AND OR COMMENTS ON MY POSTS —It is good to know people care about other life forms
In the seventies this so called new age stuff didn’t exist —there was one bookshop in Melbourne and another apparently in Kings Cross but I wasn’t aware of this back then
And I hadn’t heard the term electromagnetic wave

I STARTED DEVELOPING MY CLAIRVOYANCE IN THE 1970’S in a Spiritualist “circle.
The Spiritualists work with guides and these guides are more than just imagination or thought forms.
Other people have described the same guide that I saw without my saying anything.
I don’t know if they are us in another incarnation or just chose to help us.
I believe either may apply.
With my clairvoyance everything flashes in a fraction of a second;
visuals/clairvoyance:
auditory/clairaudience:
and even concepts.
I just presume we are “out of phase.
.
(This quick flash tied in with a theory put forth in a book that I had read before pursuing the Spiritualist path. That many realities exist in the same space but because the electrons are revolving at different speeds (per each reality) around the protons & neutrons the other realities are out of phase.
There is an episode of Stargate SG1 –SHOW AND TELL where the Reetu are out of phase)
The guide I have been aware of since I started with the Spiritualist groups has given me proof of who he is.
As well as taking me on astral journeys with him in his life time.
In one we were in an Egyptian reed canoe. (Which I later checked in the library because my idea of Egypt came from the movie “Cleopatra” and I was expecting lavish barges.—-No Google this was the 1970s)
I brought myself out of this “astral journey?” because it was too violent for me. We were in a battle zone.
Back in the seventies pyramid power was a fad.
I asked my guide who is a Nubian Egyptian about pyramids.
He told me that “pyramids refract electromagnetic waves as a prism refracts light.”
I had no idea what electromagnetic waves were and in the nineteen seventies it was difficult to find information.
I eventually l found a page in an encyclopedia
So why would one want to refract electromagnetic waves?
In “What the Bleep” it is explained that if we don’t have a concept for something it doesn’t exist for us –so I accept that in this reality my concepts and understanding are limited
Time has fascinated me since I was a child: I understand that time decreases with velocity:
when I “asked my guides about surviving death I was asked “Can you conceptualize no linear time?” My answer being “No” the reply was “We cannot explain”
I can accept that time isn’t linear but do not have a concept
I was “told” about a genetically engineered virus coming but only mentioned it to one person — who commented to me when COVID arrived
My mentor said you don’t tell bad stuff unless you can say how to avoid it
She didn’t label it a nocebo but of course it would be
I have been given info on environmental stuff but will not “tell” for the same reason
Namaste
I love the meaning of this word
The quote is from chopra.com One of the most common translations of namasté is “The divine light in me bows to the divine light within you.”

In the following book I hope to help those who wish to develop their clairvoyant abilities.
In “The Clairvoyant Experiences Of A Sceptic” I told a few of my clairvoyant experiences.
Listening to others similar stories made me realize that
it is so much better if you can have these experiences first hand.
Kung fu tz (Confucius) say “Perseverance prospers”
So don’t give up – you will succeed
And use the recorded meditations in my blog
The clairvoyant Experiences of a Sceptic is not a literary masterpiece

I decidedx to re post this after posting about the movie The Matrix
What we label as magic is actually quantum physics
Einstein’s E = mc2
I understood that time decrease with velocity in my teens (1960s)
But it is thanks to Star Trek that I realized that matter and energy are interchangeable
“Energy equals mass times the speed of light squared.” On the most basic level, the equation says that energy and mass (matter) are interchangeable; they are different forms of the same thing. Under the right conditions, energy can become mass, and vice versa.” From PBS.org
I questioned my spirit guides about life after death and was “told” “can you conceptualize no linear time?” when I answered “no” they said that they couldn’t explain
I can accept that there is nonlinear time but I cannot conceptualize it

I tried my best to practice ahimsa before I was aware of this word/concept
Impossible in a culture that believes only humans have a soul and only money matters
As a child I got a bashing for not wanting to eat meat:
The same meal served to me for breakfast lunch and tea until I ate it:
And my mother threatened to have me put in a mental institution
I believe everything that exists has a consciousness and I respect and give thanks to everything I use
And of course I talk to plants
Today I wish I was still living in my house by the sea with trees and wildlife— it was a sanctuary of life
I have just been informed that pest control are coming to this retirement village to kill rats — to keeps snakes away
Rats have every right to be here
And speaking from personal experience snakes move away from us
Those who believe other life forms have a right to be here
Please send (or pray for) protection for all creatures that most humans label as vermin or kill to keep away from crops
INTENTION IS WHAT MATTERS AND EMOTION EMPOWERS

I am sharing this to help others so please don’t feel sorry for me — I can do that all by myself
I had 63 years and 8 months of physical and mental abuse from the person who gave birth to me
I loved her and all I wanted was for her to love me–never happened.
I have flash backs to when I was still in my cot.
I am not going to elaborate on physical abuse:
suffice to say that I had no siblings or extended family
–there was no television
so I didn’t know my mother’s behaviour wasn’t normal for well over a decade.
I also believed that I deserved abuse because most people told me that I must have.
I was never hugged.
The mental abuse consisted of criticising everything I did.
Plus as an adult (and after Dad died) she would make up stories of how horrible I was to her and people would tell me off.
Anytime someone paid me a compliment mother would say it wasn’t true.
Her statement to me for a long as I remember was-
“you’re useless: a failure: a disappointment: cannot do anything right: neither use nor ornament.”
Psychologists say “go to a time that you felt safe” which is of no help to those of us who don’t have one.
More people are aware of cell memory these days
although my programming is still there (and I am almost 76 years old) I work through it with affirmations
e g. .I love myself – I trust myself.
I succeed to perfection in everything I attempt.
I’ve been sharing this statement from Deepak Chopra for two decades
I am reminding myself as I sometimes doubt what I think
Deepak said —
“Every cell in the body has neuropeptides
So every cell thinks
Better to trust your gut
As it hasn’t learned to doubt what it thinks”
I have children and grandchildren that love and support me in my old age
I should have called this book LIFE AFTER DEATH as my experiences convinced me that this life isn’t all that there is –
