My Dad (Born 1-1-1921 died  27-5-2004)

 was interested in quantum mechanics and loaned me a book on this in the 1970s

This book theorised that there are many universes existing in the same place but because the electrons are moving at a different speed around the protons and neutrons they are out of phase

Hence we are not aware of them

Then there is the theory that we are all in an holodeck

When I “asked” clairvoyantly about surviving death

The answer was-                                      

“Can you conceptualize NO  linear time”

I am able to accept that time isn’t necessarily linear but can not  conceptualize it

When I answered “No’

The reply was

“Then we cannot explain”

  1. Quite a number of people imagine the Earth bring flat – how many of these people have ever said the other 7 planets (8 planets if you’re oldschool) were not ALSO flat?
    …And “as flat as” what?
    A three-dimensional planet can be thought of as flat when one compares it to a 4th 5th or even 6th (and beyond) dimentional construct.
    But at the end of the day, perhaps we are all just Sims going about our chores in our simple electronical world.
